What does my eTOURS booking include?

For Saona Island and Catalina Island it includes pickup in the Santo Domingo metropolitan area, round-trip ground transport in an air-conditioned van seating up to eight passengers, the round-trip boat to the island, and meals and drinks during the trip. For Samaná it includes pickup at your hotel, Airbnb or residence, round-trip transport from Santo Domingo, an air-conditioned executive van with up to eight passengers, water and non-alcoholic drinks, the boat tour through Los Haitises among mangroves, rock formations and caves with Taíno pictographs, and a visit to Cayo Levantado with a Dominican lunch, beach chairs and a welcome by a team member in Samaná. For Baní it includes ground transport, a visit to the Dunes and Las Salinas, lunch, and a stop at Las Marías on the way back.

What is not included?

On Saona Island and Catalina Island, beer, optional activities at the destination and personal expenses are not included. For Samaná, alcoholic drinks, whale watching (booked separately) and optional destination activities are not included. For Baní, alcoholic drinks and purchases at Las Marías are not included: the stop is included, the purchases are not.

Can I choose how to spend my day on Saona Island?

Yes. The trip already covers transport, the boat and meals, so you arrive with nothing left to arrange. On the island you can add any optional activities you like, on your own.

How much does it cost?

Saona Island costs US$75 per person and includes round-trip ground transport from Santo Domingo, the round-trip boat to the island, and meals and drinks. Catalina Island costs US$75 per person with the same package. Samaná costs US$98 per person and includes pickup at your hotel, Airbnb or residence, round-trip transport, water and non-alcoholic drinks, a boat tour through Los Haitises among mangroves, rock formations and caves with Taíno pictographs, and Cayo Levantado with a Dominican lunch and beach chairs; alcoholic drinks and whale watching are not included. Baní costs US$75 per person and includes ground transport, a visit to the Dunes and Las Salinas, lunch, and a stop at Las Marías. What time is pickup in Santo Domingo?

For Saona and Catalina, pickup is at 7:00 AM at your hotel, Airbnb or residence in Santo Domingo, departure from Santo Domingo at 8:00 AM and arrival at the boarding area at 10:00 AM. The return leaves at 4:00 PM and reaches Santo Domingo at 6:00 PM. For Samaná, pickup is at 5:00 AM, departure at 6:00 AM, arrival at 9:00 AM, return at 4:00 PM and arrival in Santo Domingo at 7:00 PM. For Baní, pickups start at 7:00 AM, departure is at 8:00 AM, arrival at the Dunes at 10:00 AM, the return leaves at 4:00 PM and you are back in Santo Domingo around 6:00 PM.

How is this different from bus tours?

Accepted Answer

Large tours use buses seating up to forty people, so the pickup route is long and you spend a lot of time waiting for everyone to board. We travel in an eight-seat van: the route is short, we pick you up at your door, and you do not get up earlier than you need to.

This service is for guests aged 18 and over. This must be confirmed before requesting a booking.

How do I book?

Accepted Answer

One person can book. Each departure runs once it has at least two paid passengers. Complete the form up to eight hours before departure; one carry-on bag per passenger is allowed. We will contact you on WhatsApp to confirm availability and arrange payment by PayPal or bank transfer.
